1.5 is here! With this update we have addressed a large majority of feedback, remodeled the entire workshop, and added learning objectives so new players can better navigate the app. This should hopefully improve gameplay massively!

FEATURES
Scientific Notation

  • Added support for Scientific Notation in settings


Learning Objectives

  • These goals walk you through the games features and provide EXP for each one completed! The following Objective Paths were added:
  • Added the Extraction Apprentice goals
  • Added the Extraction Journeyman goals
  • Added the Refinement Apprentice goals

NOTE: All existing users will have their Extraction Objectives marked as complete.


Workshop Redesign

  • Redesigned the workshop to align with our vision for Refinement and build infrastructure for the future. Key Highlights are:
  • Ability to craft all complex components from just vials
  • Ability to see missing materials
  • Ability to queue 4 crafting requests at the same time. Each request can contain up to 100 of the same item. And will craft them from the materials available.


Sprite Chest

  • Sprites now passively generate rewards over time. The rewards are generated by your sprite taps with a chance to generate rewards at a % chance equal to 1/4th of your base active tapping rates.
  • Generated items can be claimed from the Sprite Chest on the sands page.
  • Each Sprite Chest initially holds 100 gold nuggets, 250 chips, and 500 vials.
  • The Sprite Chest is independent per region allowing for multiple passive reward streams.


Powerful Contract Upgrades

  • Powerful Contract Upgrades have 5 levels each and provide useful bonuses that greatly speed up progress.
  • Added the following 4 Powerful Contract upgrades:
  • Starting Sand - Start each run with sand already stored
  • Recursive Boost - Each contract upgrade owned multiplies profits
  • Vial Cost Discount - Decrease the sand cost of exporting vials
  • Sprite Chest Increase - Increase the sprite chest capacity
  • Removed the Sand Export Efficiency Upgrade & Replaced it with the Vial Cost Discount Upgrade. Any contracts used on the Sand Export Efficiency Upgrade have been refunded.


New Contract Upgrade Levels

  • Added 20 new Contract upgrade levels to the non-powerful contract upgrades.
  • Multiply all profits, contract potency, and export multiplier all now go to level 200.


Other

  • Added 10 new Company Levels



QUALITY OF LIFE

Prestige Updates

  • Prestige now provides sand vials for the remaining sand in your sand storage. This is not affected by the 1.25x ad multiplier.


Data & Statistics

  • A star now highlights the most profitable product per second.


Statistics page Additions

  • Sand Vial Cost
  • Export Multiplier
  • Profit per Second % contribution for each product
  • Switched the % completed for each category of Region Development with the last level obtained.


Onboarding & World Hub Adjustments

  • The region token progress, region unlock, and region enter buttons have been moved to better accommodate smaller devices. And have been redesigned to reduce clutter.
  • Shortened Onboarding & clicks to enter the Volatile Badlands
  • Reduced the load time for the region selection screen.
  • Added an “!” indicator to the Hub Button when you can level up your company.


Tooltips

  • Updated the wording on most tooltips to account for changes from the last few updates.
  • Adjusted the wording on the Action Needed Alerts to make them easier to understand when prompting the user.



BALANCING CHANGES

Extraction Adjustments

  • Exporting fills the excess sand bar now adding 50% of the exported sand to the excess sand bar.
  • Reduced the Sand Mines starting upgrade cost in each region.
  • The unlock requirement for the Sands Page is now reaching 25 product improvements.
  • Adjusted all Product scaling, improvements, and upgrades to better balance products and make each product useful during specific parts of gameplay.
  • Each product will receive a massive boost to profits every 4k levels in the Volatile Badlands and Scorching Desert, and every 5k levels in the Enduring Plains.
  • 6k sand Levels are now required for 100% completion.
  • Max Sand Mines level is now 6k


Exchange Adjustments

  • Exchange Gold now provides 1-2 gold bars when rolled.
  • Arcanite Parts (Shards, Cores, and Arcanite) can no longer be found in the Exchange. Only Vials can be found in the Exchange.


Company Adjustments

  • Various Company Level Adjustments


BUG FIXES

Audio Fixes

  • Audio no longer continues plays when leaving the App.
  • Music should no longer pause other audio.


Authentication Fixes

  • Fixed an issue that blocked users from logging into their account due to guest account linking issues.
  • Fixed an issue that would log users out of their account if persistent auth rehydration took too long to complete.


Workshop Fixes

  • The player should no longer be able to go into debt in the Workshop
  • Negative item values are now visible on the company page.


General Fixes

  • Tap Tiles and other assets no longer remain on screen when moving between pages
  • Removed the currently unreachable sand capacity goals.
  • EXP no longer looks like it is being claimed when at the current max level.

General Fixes

  • Fixed a bug that shorted Scientific Notation Numbers by an order of magnitude.
  • Scientific Notation now only displays one whole number with 2 decimals.
  • The company screen is now scrollable to fix overflow on smaller devices.
  • Powerful Contract Upgrades now show the value of the current boost instead of 0 when comparing the upgrade.
  • Changed the starting text for the recursive boost to read 1x instead of 0
  • The most profitable product will now update properly when buying product upgrades and Arcanite Upgrades.
  • The Exchange box glow is now contained.
