1.9 is here with brand new Arcanite Abilities, a new Event, and a ton of improvements to speed up the game!

FEATURES

Added Electric Arcanite

  • Introducing the first Complex Arcanite: Electric Arcanite
  • You can research and then craft Electric Arcanite using Explosive Arcanite and Fire Arcanite
  • Some clients will accept Electric Arcanite at certain Reputation Levels.
  • Added the “Charging Currents” Ability for Electric Arcanite

Energy Surge Event

  • We are launching our first event for the introduction of the Electric Arcanite
  • In the ‘Boost & Events’ section on the World Hub you will find the Energy Surge Event page
  • In this event earn points from critical taps, shipments sent, and arcanite abilities upgraded.
  • Obtain rewards by collecting points
  • Once the event ends there’s will be a buffer period of 3 days to claim any unclaimed rewards

Arcanite Abilities

  • Arcanite can now be used to upgrade abilities in each region
  • Added the Arcanite Abilities section to the bottom of the Region Factory page
  • Abilities can be upgraded infinitely with a base cost of 10 Arcanite
  • This cost increases by 10 Arcanite each level. 
  • All regions can utilize all the Arcanite types and abilities

Added the “Explosive Profits” Ability

  • Upgraded using Explosive Arcanite
  • This boost multiplies all product profits 
  • Each level increases this multiplier by +25

Added the “Gilded Currencies” Ability

  • Upgraded using Fire Arcanite
  • This boost increases the Golden Tap chance
  • Each level increases the tap chance by +0.05%

Added the “Stable Supplies” Ability

  • Upgraded using Earth Arcanite
  • This boost increases your Sand Power
  • Each level increases your Sand Power by +10

Added the “Charging Currents” Ability

  • Upgraded using Electric Arcanite
  • This boost multiplies profits. Critical Taps will grow this multiplier
  • Each level increases the amount each critical tap provides to the multiplier.

Workshop Research

  • You can now Research Complex Arcanite in the Workshop
  • Researching requires an upfront arcanite cost to unlock a new crafting recipe
  • You can now filter the Workshop on “Research”

Auto Chips & Gold

  • Upon completion of a region, you will now receive +100 chips and +1 gold per day.
  • Upon completing all current regions this will yield +600 and +6 gold per day 
  • In addition to gaining vials, time warps will also give chips and gold now.

Endless Difficulty

  • After completing a region on Hard, you will unlock ‘Endless’ difficulty
  • Anyone who had previously completed hard will automatically have their region set to the Endless difficulty 
  • Endless can not be completed but provides continued access to the region to farm resources
  • This mode is not a part of the main progression but allows you to stack arcanite boosts to gain resources

Client Adjustments

  • Electric Arcanite has a market value of $50K per Arcanite
  • Hearthcore accepts Energy Arcanite at Lv. 21
  • Hearthcore’s new Max Rep level is now Lv.23
  • MeltForge accepts Energy Arcanite at Lv. 31
  • MeltForge’s new Max Rep level is now Lv.33
  • Rift Rail accepts Energy Arcanite at Lv. 21
  • Rift Rail’s new Max Rep level is now Lv. 23

  • Updated Sand Details to be more detailed
  • Arcanite abilities are listed under the statistics they effect

Streamlined Onboarding

  • Significantly decreased the text in Onboarding
  • Added helpful visuals

Event Progress Indicator

  • Event level progress can be viewed in regions to the left of the company EXP bar


BALANCE
Decreased the Tap Boosts Cost

  • Decreased the cost of Tap Boosts to 50 (was 75)

Exchange Buffs

  • Increased the number of vials earned per Exchange roll to 50 (was 25)

Improved the End of Regions

  • Smoothed out the last ~1-2% of region progression by adding and buffing product milestones.

Replaced the Sprite Chest

  • Centralized rewards in the Auto Resources section of the Region Unlocks Page
  • Auto Gold and Auto Chips are now earned through Region Completion
  • Refunded Contracts used to upgrade the Sprite Chest
  • Dev Note: We believe these changes are better for the game’s long-term health and feel. With the 1.9 features, buffs, and regular events, we feel the sprite chest is no longer needed. Based on feedback we understand it had become a vital but chore-like part of progression. Our goal is to shift progression away from gold farming and toward quality Arcanite upgrades, Company upgrades, and region progression. These changes are not meant to make the game harder, and we’ll keep listening and adjusting as needed.


BUG FIXES
App Startup

  • Deferred a dependency to reduce the amount of time it takes to reach the world hub.  

General

  • Sand Export multiplier is no longer removed before the sand stockpile reaches zero
